Protection: Your Permanent Painting Contractor should cover all shrubbery, decks, windows, vehicles and all property not intended for painting Preparation: The key to a successful installation is preparation. Your Permanent Painting Contractor should begin with a thorough pressure-wash using a pre-treatment of TSP and chlorine to remove all dirt, mildew, loose paint, and other impediments to adhesion. Surfaces should be scraped and sanded as necessary, as agreed with your Permanent Painting Contractor. Remove ALL loose and peeling paint and provide a solid sound substrate for the product application process Repairs: Remove and replace ALL rotted wood using synthetic or cement based materials Extreme Performance Bonding Primer Application: A thorough visual application of our superior bonding primer must be applied by sprayer, brush, or roller to ALL surfaces intended for painting Extreme-Seal Sealant: This high performance sealant is installed OVER the bonding primer to replace old or failed caulk, and to seal ALL possible points of water entry. Extreme Performance Permanent Paint Application: Usually sprayed, the Extreme Performance Permanent Paint is applied over the bonding primer and sealant at a nominal 10 mils dry film thickness providing a luxurious soft-satin finish and the providing maximum protection from “mother nature’s” most damaging elements. Clean Up: Be sure to work with your Permanent Painting Contractor to assure proper cleanup of your home and surrounding areas upon completion of work. Final Inspection: You should participate in a final, detailed inspection to assure your TOTAL satisfaction. Your Permanent Painting Contractor will provide you with a warranty registration card to send in only when you are completely satisfied with the work done on your home.
